Despite publicly saying that she and her husband, Barack, are stronger than ever, former first lady Michelle Obama continues to take the airwaves to criticize her hubby.
In a shocking reveal on Michelle Obama’s latest episode of her “IMO” podcast, aired dirty laundry on Barack for calling one of their children “difficult.”
According to Michelle, she claims Barack found it more “difficult” to raise his youngest daughter, Sasha.
During last Wednesday’s podcast episode, Michelle Obama recalled Barack connecting more seamlessly with their older daughter, Malia.
“I’d say this to Barack, when it comes to, you know, [our] oldest, Malia, she is going to figure out who you are, what do you like and let’s discuss it,” Michelle said, adding that it was an “unusual” characteristic for a teen.
“When Malia was a teenager, it wasn’t that she was going out any less or doing anything differently,” Michelle said. “She would tell me, ‘I’m going out this weekend, but I’m going to go in and give dad like 15 minutes.’”
Even during their time in the White House, Michelle said that Malia would make an effort catch up with her dad and ask him questions about what was happening in the world.
“She’d go into the Treaty Room and be like, ‘Tell me about Syria,’” Michelle claimed, adding that Barack would come out of their meeting saying, “I just had an amazing conversation with Malia.”
Michelle said, “I’m like, ‘Ok.’”
However, according to Michelle, Sasha, now 24, wasn’t as focused on pleasing her father — something she says Barack struggled to accept over the years.
“Sasha is like a cat,” Michelle explained. “She’s like, ‘Don’t touch me, don’t pet me. I’m not pleasing you. You come to me.’”
The mom of two said that Barack called Sasha “difficult,” prompting Michelle to explain that their youngest was just not a people “pleaser” like their eldest.
Michelle added that parents “have to be a chameleon” and adjust to different temperaments.
“Some people parent to one child, or one personality child, but then you have three,” Michelle laughed.

Despite the claims from Michelle about Barack’s relationship with Sasha, the father-daughter duo are extremely close.
Barack even shared how proud he was of her while celebrating her birthday this year.
“Happy birthday, Sasha! Watching you grow into the incredible woman you are has been a true gift. I’ll always be proud of you and will always be here for you,” he wrote via Instagram on June 10.
