Despite a seal of approval from her boss, President Donald Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi finds herself in hot water with MAGA supporters for her role in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein files saga.
The Department of Justice announced earlier this month that there was no evidence that convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in prison and that there was no ‘client list’ that could be released to the public.
The news fueled calls for Bondi’s resignation or firing, after she sent mixed messages about the existence and release of the Epstein files over the past few months.
Many conservative voices are now calling for Bondi to be fired for her blunder, including one Washington insider who believes Bondi should be replaced by conservative star and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
Comedian and podcaster Tim Dillon revealed he recently traveled to Washington, DC, for a dinner with a few members of the Trump administration to talk about the issue, as they tried to clarify details of the case.
When Bondi said she had 10,000 hours of video connected to the Epstein case, Dillon revealed on his podcast, officials clarified she was speaking only about the footage of child porn found in Epstein’s possession, not footage of Epstein and clients.
Dillon recommended Trump fire Pam Bondi and release the files if he wanted to get ahead of the scandal that threatened to “engulf his presidency.”
“She’s either incompetent or, or she’s untruthful,” Dillon said.
“Pam Bondi’s gotta go. She’s gotta go back to Florida and prosecute people that you know are misbehaving on jet skis,” Dillon continued.
“She’s gotta get out and you gotta bring in Megan Kelly. Truly you have to bring in Megan Kelly to be the Attorney General of America.”

It should be noted that Dillon is of course a comedian — and is known for his satirical humor — so his “recommendation” should be taken as satire and entertainment.
However, Kelly has been vocal in her criticism of Bondi in light of the recent Epstein fiasco.
Kelly blasted Bondi earlier this month during an episode of Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” predicting that Bondi’s days in the Trump administration are “numbered” following public backlash over the DOJ’s new report on Jeffrey Epstein.
“Just look at the influencer thing. Just take a step back,” Kelly said.
“What kind of an attorney general would pretend she’s giving new information to some of the president’s most loyal advocates in the press? You know, buying ink by the barrel. So either Pam Bondi knew she was about to embarrass some of his most loyal surrogates out there, and did that willingly, or she didn’t take the time to make sure what was in those binders. She was too lazy to actually figure out none of this is new.”
“And yet she called a meeting with the influencers that included Kash Patel the head of the FBI and the sitting vice president,” Kelly added.
“So she’s either lazy and incompetent or she willingly humiliated some of the president’s most loyal supporters. Neither one of those is good. And that’s why, I’m sorry, but I’m going to predict her days are numbered as a member of the Trump administration.”
And, while Dillon’s satirical view of Kelly replacing Bondi is just that — satire — it does raise an interesting question about whether or not Kelly would be technically “qualified” to replace Bondi.
Kelly, best known for her time with Fox News and her standout podcast on SiriusXM, does have a legal background.
Kelly had a successful career as a lawyer before transitioning to journalism. She worked as a corporate litigator at Bickel & Brewer and Jones Day, but eventually grew disillusioned with the long hours and decided to pursue a career in media.
