Joy Behar hates President Donald Trump so much, she threatened to stop paying federal income taxes during Thursday’s episode of “The View” — because the Trump administration supporters federal spending cuts.

Time for a visit from the IRS?

The ABC host made the remarks after the recently passed “Big Beautiful Bill” and its associated cuts to waste and fraud. Behad said she should only pay state taxes if the federal government continues reducing spending.

“I’d like to know, why am I paying federal taxes if they’re not going to do anything, by the way? Is there anybody that can tell me that?” Behar asked during the show. “If they want the states to take care of everything, I’ll pay state taxes, and not federal taxes. Watch the IRS come after me now.”

Behar railed against what she described as Trump’s incompetent leadership and criticized key cabinet members including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

“There are a bunch of incompetent people headed by the president himself,” Behar said. “It’s very scary. I’ll tell you the truth, now I’m getting scared.”

Behar specifically targeted Noem’s proposal to eliminate FEMA as an independent agency and bring it under the umbrella of Homeland Security to reduce redundancy and costs.

“She wants to eliminate the one organization that could help those people,” Behar claimed.
