The much ballyhooed release of the so-called Jeffrey Epstein files from the Trump administration have so far not lived up to the hype.
In fact, one could argue they were a complete dud with no real groundbreaking findings coming from the released of the once-redacted files.
But a new revelation NOT found in the new Epstein files is turning some serious heads, as a famed author has now come forward saying that he was the recipient of Epstein’s final phone call from prison.
And Epstein’s final words are nothing short of morbid.

Journalist Michael Wolff, who was a Donald Trump biographer, revealed on an episode of “The Daily Beast Podcast” that aired today that Epstein’s last known message was that he was “still hanging around.”
Words he said happened hours before he was found hanged in his Manhattan cell.
“I believe that I got the last message from him before he died,” Wolff revealed on today’s episode.
“And this came through one of his lawyers on a Friday evening. He died on Saturday morning.”
“His message to me hours before this happened was — and it was just in response to me asking how he was — and he said, ‘Still hanging around,’” Wolff said.
Wolff said Epstein had asked him to write his biography in 2014, but that he refused. They remained in touch, however.
Asked his own theory on how Epstein died, Wolff suggested it will remain a mystery.
“I don’t know,” he said.
“He could not, as described, have killed himself,” he said — while also conceding, “As the circumstances presented, he could not have been murdered.”
The chilling revelation comes as the Department of Justice confirmed this week that there was no evidence that the notorious pedophile was murdered in his lockup — despite years of conspiracy theorists claiming otherwise.
Attorney General Pam Bondi is facing fierce criticism from conservatives after the Department of Justice leaked information about Jeffrey Epstein’s death and client book.
A Justice Department memo leaked to Axios claims investigators found no evidence Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, maintained a “client list,” and insists he committed suicide inside his Manhattan jail cell in 2019.
The criticism stems from Bondi’s February appearance on Fox News, where she claimed an Epstein client list was “sitting on my desk right now to review.”
Days later, she released a dossier titled “Epstein Files: Part One” to conservative social media influencers, but it only contained information already public, with no client list included
Epstein, 66, was found dead at the Metropolitan Detention Center on Aug. 10, 2019, while awaiting trial for a slew of sex-trafficking charges.
