Liberal comedian Kathy Griffin has sparked controversy again after posting a video over the weekend showing severed heads of President Donald Trump, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg — a clear attempt to stir controversy and get attention.
Griffin’s viral TikTok video shows what appears to be three severed heads mounted on a wall, where she appears straight-faced in the video before raising her eyebrows and tilting her head, then nodding with approval. The video includes the caption “that’s all” and ends with Griffin smirking.
Conservatives on social media blasted the video for promoting political violence. The Libs of TikTok account on X called for an FBI investigation.
“Kathy Griffin apparently posted this video which appears to be decapitated heads including Trump,” the Sunday X post read. “This should be investigated @FBI.”

More than eight years ago, during the early months of Trump’s first administration, Griffin made headlines for posing with a fake decapitated head of the president.
That 2017 incident led to significant backlash. CNN terminated its agreement with her to appear on the network’s New Year’s Eve program after the photo sparked outrage.
“CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year’s Eve program,” the network said at the time.
Trump called the original photo “sick” and said his family was affected by it.
“Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself,” Trump said in 2017. “My children, especially my 11-year-old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this.”
First Lady Melania Trump called the photo “disturbing” and said it made her “wonder about the mental health of a person who did it.”
“As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing,” Melania Trump said.
Trump survived two assassination attempts during the 2024 presidential election, including one gunman who grazed his ear with a bullet.
After facing widespread criticism in 2017, Griffin apologized for the original severed head photo.
“I’m just now seeing the reaction of these images. I’m a comic, I crossed the line. I moved the line and then I crossed it. I went way too far,” Griffin said in her 2017 video apology. “The image is too disturbing. I understand how it affects people. It wasn’t funny, I get it. I beg for your forgiveness.”
Now, it seems, she’s begging for more attention.
