[WATCH] Donald Trump names his successor on new podcast!?

President Donald Trump teased who he’d like to see replace him in the Trump presidential dynasty when his term is up in 2028.

And while the current president will not be in the Oval Office, he would like another “Trump” to take his place.

Even if he doesn’t want to toy with a run for office — for now.

During the debut episode of New York Post columnist Miranda Devine’s “Pod Force One” podcast, Trump insisted that all of his children have a political future ahead of them and proudly boasted that they “were born smart.”

Trump made the prediction when asked by columnist whether his oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., might run for president.

“I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know. I think all of them probably have a future in politics, frankly. And Don is very good. A good guy. He’s an outdoorsman,” Trump replied.

During the 2024 election cycle, Donald Trump Jr. had been the most outspoken of the president’s children in the political arena. Don Jr also aggressively lobbied his father to tap JD Vance as vice president.

However, Trump Jr himself has said that he has no interest in running for president.

Fake News @Reuters should retract this BS. They put a comma where there should have been a period to change the context of what i said.

And FWIW, I've always said, while I'll never 100% rule it out down the line, I have ZERO interest in running for office in 28 or anytime soon. https://t.co/3ZAGqFx0t4

Trump also went on to name his other children, including Eric, Ivanka, Lara, Tiffany, and Barron, as possible successors to the Oval Office, indicating they all have a future in politics.

“Eric has done a fantastic job,” Trump continued on the podcast.

“Barron is great. He is very tall and good. Ivanka, you know Ivanka? Yes. Very well. She’s so great. And Tiffany has done really well. She went to a great law school and did very well. Always a good student.”

Eric Trump, has been busy as the trustee and executive vice president of the Trump Organization.

His wife, Lara, had been a co-chair of the Republican National Committee and now has her own Fox News show, “My View with Lara Trump.”

The first daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, had served in the first Trump administration but have since largely steered clear of policies during her father’s 2024 campaign and second term.

Tiffany Trump, who welcomed her first child last month, has consistently kept a low public profile, while Barron Trump recently wrapped up his freshman year at New York University.

“They were born smart,” Trump told Devine about his kids.

“But they work hard too, and they’re good to people.”
