“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes
After an unrelenting shellacking during the last presidential election, the leaders of the Democratic Party have decided it’s time to man up—if they only knew how.
Democrats have spent decades pandering to ethnic, racial, sexual, and gender-identity divides, until last November’s landslide election reminded them of an inconvenient fact: Men still vote.
Now, Democrats desperately want to learn how to get men to vote for them again, and they’re willing to pay—and pay big—for it. And they’re not above stealing one of President Donald Trump’s ideas to do it.
They’ve invested tens of millions of Democratic National Convention donors’ funds on an “expert” report about what men want, according to The New York Times.
“The prospectus for one new $20 million effort, obtained by The Times, aims to reverse the erosion of Democratic support among young men, especially online,” the paper reported.
They called the outreach to American men “Speaking with American Men,” or “SAM,” a brand new research initiative that aims to to “study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in (male) spaces.”

“This is laughable. It really is. And the hilarity doesn’t have anything to do with it involving the Democrats,” wrote Nick Kangadis at the conservative Media Research Center. “If any group or company came up with this ‘idea,’ I would laugh in their presumably smug faces.”
“Instead of creating a focus group on how to communicate with “American men,” and spending $20 million to do so, just go outside and talk to actual men?” he asked.
Donors might ask another question: Why does the Democratic Party structure, which spent an all-time record high $1 billion of donors’ money on the failed 2024 election, feels like it has to study how to talk to men at all?
Wasn’t Tim Walz supposed to “code talk to white guys watching football, fixing their truck”?
Walz revealed before an audience at Harvard University last month that Kamala Harris tapped him as her running mate, because “I could put white males) at ease. I was the permission structure to say, ‘Look, you can do this. You can vote for this.’” But he admitted, “You look across those swing states, with the exception of Minnesota, we didn’t get enough” of their votes.

Walz was supposed to entice white male voters with his exaggerated record as a “football coach” (he was an assistant), his “white guy tacos,” and his incredible ability to handle a shotgun (that he couldn’t load).
Somehow, the demographic considered “young men” aged 18 to 44 supported President Trump over then-VP Harris by eight points: 53 percent to 45 percent.
Almost seven months after he lost all seven swing states, the Democrats plan to invest millions of dollars to learn what they should have known all along: Men (and most women) don’t want anything to do with their radical, far-Left political agenda.
“They’re for sexually mutilating kids via transgender surgeries, they want illegals to flow across the border, they want dudes to compete in women’s sports, they’re all about pronouns, they’re pro-Hamas, they’re antisemitic, and they hate anyone who doesn’t hop on this train of regional and niche interests that only benefit the rich,” wrote Matt Vespa at Townhall.com. “Grab a drink and watch this car crash coming around the bend because this is bound to fail.”
Still, they keep trying—and their latest move involves stealing the precious name of President Donald Trump’s political movement in a shocking act of theft.
One of the make-believe “populists” of the Democratic Party wants to start a movement that actually cares about workers—or so he says.
Rep. Ro Khanna, R-Calif., represents tech billionaires in Silicon Valley, but sometimes he talks a good game of caring for the people. He knows the party needs a new image—and some party honchos settled on a very familiar name for the new outreach.
Khanna has decided he should name the Democratic Party’s efforts to talk to normal people “Blue MAGA.”
After Joe Biden gave a Hitleresque speech warning that the entire MAGA movement represents a threat to democracy.
After media figures like former CNN host Don Lemon ripped on Elon Musk for having “stupid MAGA brain” and that Convington High School kids deserved to be harassed for wearing the red “Make America Great Again” hat.
And, yes, after the party spent a billion dollars running against “MAGA Republicans.”
The best they can do is use the exact same word with a different color?
No real man would do that.
