Donald Trump just caused a “woke” freakout

Democrats from California’s Gavin Newsom to New York’s Letitia James continue to burn the midnight oil, desperately searching for an answer to just one question: How can we overturn the 2024 election and get rid of President Donald Trump?

Everyone knows the white-hot hatred “woke” politicians feel for the 47th president—but a newly released analysis may explain exactly why they hate him so much.

They’re already freaking out so much about the next election.

Election officials have examined voting patterns nationwide and found the Democrats are intent on toppling Donald Trump… because he has flipped their most valuable voting bloc.

President Donald Trump had a huge voting swing among Hispanic Americans—and that shift may have been the factor that gave him a decisive victory in the popular vote.

To make matters worse, the man who uncovered these facts works for one of the Left’s premier institutions: Yale.

News outlets reported that the Hispanic vote had shifted toward President Donald Trump by 14 points between the 2020 election and last November, but it turns out the damage was deeper than they thought—about 50 percent deeper than they thought.

Finalized data showed that Hispanics actually swung toward Trump by a massive 21 percentage points in 2024.

Four years ago, Democrats led by Joe Biden won the Hispanic vote by a 30-point margin. Last fall, Democrats still won the pivotal, growing demographic…but by only nine points.

The news crushed Democrats, who had cultivated the Latino voter base for decades.

Final Presidential Swing Estimates
🔴 White: R+14 (2020) -> R+16 (2024)
🔵 Hispanic: D+30 -> D+9
🔵 Asian: D+31 -> D+20
🔵 Black: D+78 -> D+72

Trump made small gains with White voters and modest gains with Black voters—but a historic Hispanic shift handed him a popular vote win.

That bad news came from Zachary Donnini, who parses data science for Decision Desk HW and the Yale Youth Poll.

Those who looked at his analysis came to a startling conclusion: “According to these estimates, Trump won the Hispanic vote in 16 states, cracking 60% in Florida,” according to Patrick Ruffini, a pollster at Echelon Insights.

The growth didn’t just start four years ago against the cadaver of Joe Biden, either.

According to these estimates, Trump won the Hispanic vote in 16 states, cracking 60% in Florida.

Other notable performances:

NC 49.6%
GA 47.9%
NJ 47.3%
TX 45.4%https://t.co/cSywz4v5fK https://t.co/K8l18OyrZW

“Trump increased his share of the Hispanic vote from 16 percent in 2016 to 42 percent in 2024,” reported Newsweek on Tuesday.

That may explain why Trump shocked the world by upsetting Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016 and came roaring back in 2024 to bury Kamala Harris last fall.

Trump won a blowout in the Electoral College: 312 electoral votes for the Republican ticket compared to just 226 for Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.

Trump won all seven key swing states: Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes) Georgia (16), North Carolina (16),  Michigan (15)Arizona (11), Wisconsin (10), and Nevada (six).

NBC’s exit polls showed that President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance won 57% of white voters supported Trump, and he won 46% of the Hispanic vote—a huge jump over John McCain and Mitt Romney.

Looking at the polls as they came in on election night, pollster Sean Trende of Real Clear Politics said President Trump was leading “the most racially diverse Republican coalition in a very, very long time”—and now, it’s clear the president delivered.

If Trump wins, which looks increasingly likely with every minute, it's going to be with the most racially diverse Republican coalition in a very, very long time.

What’s more, the 2024 election trend looks to be permanent. Polls show Donald Trump still has Hispanic voters’ confidence.

Almost two out of three Hispanics (60 percent) approve of the job Trump is doing as president, according to an InsiderAdvantage poll of 1,000 likely voters from May 17 to 19.

That’s a 22-point jump from the exact same poll, which found a 38 percent approval rating among Hispanic just two weeks earlier, from April 30 to May 1.

That’s not the only poll that found Trump’s support among Latinos exploding. A Civiqs/Daily Kos poll showed a 15 point explosion in support over the same period.

“In this early days of the administration, partisan patterns seem to be holding, with Latinos who voted for President Trump largely staying put,” said Clarissa Martinez De Castro, vice president of the Latino Vote Initiative at UnidosUS.

If they stay put, the Republican Party is staying put in the White House in 2028.
