Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has been front-and-center as the opposition’s voice to President Donald Trump since he took office for the second time.
Most recently, he’s publically slammed Trump for his moved on freezing federal funding, and emposing tariffs against Mexico, Canada, and China.
Much to the Democratic Party’s chagrin, unfortunately.
Now, one of the mainstream media’s most beloved liberal voices has come forward demanding that Schumer stay out of the way — for good.

Last night, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart begged Democrats to “please stop f*cking trotting” Schumer out in public to respond to President Donald Trump.
Reacting on The Daily Show to Trump’s tariff threats against Canada and Mexico, Stewart remarked, “His trade war has awoken a sleeping giant. Not Canada, not Mexico, but the Democratic minority Senate leader. Release the Schumer!”
Stewart then played a clip of Schumer warning, “It’s going to affect beer, okay? Most of it, Corona here, comes from Mexico. It’s going to affect your guac, because what is guacamole made of? Avocados.”
“Your response to the trade war is to fucking tell us guacamole.”
He continued, “What is the decision-making process here? ‘Hey, who should we get out there to effectively battle one of the most savvy presidential media manipulators in history? Oh, I don’t know, how about Schumer? He’s uninteresting, but at least he’s monotone. Oh wait, and Chuck, before you go out there, you look too young! Put on these readers and lower them on your nose. perfect!’”
Stewart ended his rant by saying:
“Honestly, listening to Chuck Schumer speak on almost any topic makes me want to bomb Canada.”e is made of avocados?” questioned Stewart. “Democrats, can you please stop fucking trotting Schumer out there every time Trump traverses into the unreal? He’s not good at this.”
Ouch!

Policial theatre aside, this is part of a recent line of embarrassing video footage of Schumer that his irked Democrats.
Last week Schumer claimed that he hasn’t seen “people so aroused in a very, very long time” over Trump’s federal grant freeze.
“Donald Trump, with his cruel policy, has aroused the American people and begun to show them how this administration is not for working families, but for the billionaires,” Schumer told reporters during a press conference on the White House Office of Management and Budget’s now-rescinded memo ordering a temporary freeze on federal grants and loans.
“People are aroused,” Schumer declared, claiming that local elected officials have been flooded with concerned messages from constituents over the memo.
“I haven’t seen people so aroused in a very, very long time,” the 74-year-old Democrat added.

Then there is of course this gem of video footage catching Schumer accusing Trump of having “incited the erection” at the US Capitol, in remarks from the Senate floor shortly after the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.
Perhaps Stewart is right. It’s time to stop trotting out Chuck Schumer.
