Despite their political differences, former President Joe Biden apparently left the White House on good terms with President Donald Trump this week.
While speaking from the Oval Office, Trump told a pool of reporters said that Biden wrote him an “inspirational letter” that he found in the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

“He wrote me a nice letter,” Trump said after he found the letter the night before while signing executive orders.
“It’s sort of a tradition, you put it in the drawer, especially of the beautiful resolute desk,” Trump continued. “And I opened the drawer and there it was, it said, ‘To Number 47.’”
“And it was a very nice letter,” he said. “I mean, I could show it because I think it was a nice letter. Maybe I will.”
Trump said that the letter was “a little bit of an inspirational type letter,” telling Trump to “enjoy it” and “do a good job.”
He said that Biden also emphasized how important the job is.
“I think it was a nice letter,” he said. “I think I should let people see it, because it was a positive for him in writing it, I appreciated the letter.”
