Newly uncovered photos obtained by conservative organization America First Legal has rocked Washington, D.C. with less than a month until President-elect Donald Trump takes office.
The photos, released earlier this week, show proof of then-Vice President Joe Biden posing with his son Hunter’s Chinese business associates in 2013, directly contradicting all White House claims that Biden never discussed his son’s foreign dealings.
The images, obtained by America First Legal through National Archives lawsuits, also show Biden introducing Hunter to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Vice President Li Yuanchao during an official government foreign goodwill trip to Asia.
Additional photos show Biden with Hunter’s BHR Partners executives Jonathan Li and Ming Xue.
“These photos corroborate the House Oversight Committee’s investigative findings that Hunter Biden arranged for his father to meet with Jonathan Li and other BHR executives during the 2013 China trip,” America First Legal said.
Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners made approximately $27 million in foreign payments to him between 2014-2019. In 2019, Li wired Hunter $250,000 using Joe Biden’s Delaware address.
The photos’ release was delayed until after the 2024 election by Biden administration lawyers
In a controversial move, Biden issued a sweeping, blanket pardon of Hunter on December 1 for all potential crimes dating back to 2014, just before his son’s sentencing for tax and gun crimes. The pardon came as House Republicans investigation into Biden family corruption heated up — and Trump was set to take back control of the Department of Justice.
“More evidence comes out each day showing how his family leveraged Joe Biden’s even longer career in public office for private gain,” said America First Legal Counsel Michael Ding.
