President Joe Biden’s presidency is quickly coming to an end with president-elect Donald Trump set to take office (again) in January.
Unfortunately it feels like Biden has completely checked out — both mentally and physically — from his duties as president.
Because he was nowhere to be found during an important gathering of some of the world’s biggest leaders, and the move left many wondering…
“Where’s Joe?!”
During this week’s G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, reporters and photographers were set to take a group picture with other world leaders.
Only one person was notoriously missing from the photo-op.
Joe Biden!
In fact, cameras even captured one pool reporter talking about “waiting for Biden” as the rest of the world leaders walk off.
The pool reporter then says that Biden is “behind a palm tree.”
“Oh my God… they took it!” an American journalist was heard uttering on the pooled video feed after other leaders clasped hands and smiled without the retiring commander in chief.
“Yup, he’s right there … he’s behind the palm tree right now!” the unidentified reporter alerted her peers

What was the reason Biden didn’t appear in the photo?
“Due to logistical issues, they took the photo early before all the leaders arrived,” an unnamed senior US official told the media.
Unfortunately, this move wasn’t an outlier.
Biden’s absence in the G20 photo followed him arriving late at the APEC conference in Peru earlier in the weekend.
Biden made other world leaders wait more than five minutes to take the group photo at the APEC Summit in Peru — then stuck him in the back corner when he finally showed up.

And during a press conference on climate change and the Amazon rainforests, Biden appeared blow off any questions from the media

As Biden wound down his South American trip, even members of the media were getting frustrated with his lack of availability and transparency.
One reporter desperately said from a distance, “You haven’t talked to us the whole trip!”
