President Joe Biden’s July 4th meltdowns have gone viral. Video seems to show Biden confusing Independence Day with Christmas on Thursday, telling the crowd, “Ho, ho, ho!”
And during an interview on Pennsylvania radio show that day, Biden claimed her was the “first black woman” to serve in the White House, and was “elected statewide in Delaware when I was a kid” in the baffling interview.
“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, to serve with a black president,” he said.
In the same interview, Biden told host Ashanti Martin, “I’m the first president elected statewide in the state of Delaware, when I was a kid.”

Later that day, the 81-year-old president 81 joined First Lady Jill Biden at an Independence Day event at the White House, joined on stage by Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff.
Harris almost introduced the “extraordinary” Biden as the vice president. Biden then turned to the crowd and yelled, “Ho, Ho, Ho!”

The July 4th meltdowns has sparked a range of reactions across the political spectrum. Some critics, including Terrence K. Williams, have suggested that these statements are proof of further cognitive decline.
Williams tweeted, “Joe Biden is suffering from Dementia! The President is an 81 year old white man who thinks he’s a black woman.”
🚨ATTENTION!
Joe Biden just referred to himself as a BLACK WOMAN on radio! Unbelievable
He said
“ By the way I’m proud to be as I said the first vice president, first black woman to serve with a black President,

Even some Democrats have expressed concern.
Peter Daou, a former advisor to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign, reacted on social media by calling for an end to Biden’s candidacy, describing the situation as “criminal negligence on the part of the Democratic Party.”
In response to the controversy, Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for Biden’s re-election campaign, continued to defend the president.
Moussa told The New York Times, “It was clear what President Biden meant when he was talking about his historic record, including a record number of appointments to the federal bench.” Moussa further described the media’s focus on these statements as “absurd.”
