A Pacific gray whale put on a show at Southern California’s Redondo Beach, popping its huge head out of the waves and rolling around in the surf.
The Daily Breeze newspaper recorded video Wednesday as the juvenile whale spouted water and scratched itself in the sand just feet from the city’s beach and pier. Dozens of onlookers watched in wonder and many snapped photos.
Alisa Schulman-Janiger, director of the American Cetacean Society, tells the newspaper that the yearling was probably making its first annual migration without its mother. Gray whales commonly migrate this time of year from feeding grounds in Alaska to Baja California lagoons, where adults mate and give birth in the warm waters.
An annual census has documented more than 1,420 grays passing by since December.

I served in Desert Storm and all those weapons of mass destruction was there all over the desert on flatbeds. So while you do not know what’s going on, Obama has the Muslim brotherhood in our Whitehouse talking to isis.
I am not a fan of W but this I can say, the WMD’s were real and were found. Most, if not all, service men and women were sworn to secrecy about the finding of WMD’s. Our government did neutralize lots of the saran gas bombs they found in the desert. At the time I learned about them from a man who found one buried in the desert, the gov had neutralized about 500 bombs and he said that it was less than 1% of what they had found so far. Was he accurate in his assessment? I can’t positively say. I can only relate our conversation. The newspaper had a small article buried within its pages confirming what the man said and that was the only article I ever saw published about the finding of those bombs. You can deny it. that’s okay. You can blame W and that’s really okay, but you cannot deny the existence of those weapons. The media has vested interest in hiding the truth which they are pros in doing so.
