“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
This week, Joe Biden gave multiple speeches promising to get tough on Hamas, Ukraine, and American “racists,” but it looks like he’s quietly waging war on another target: Mom and Dad.
Specifically, the Biden administration is taking aim at the words “mother” and “father,” as a new executive branch action would banish those terms from all U.S. law to curry favor with the transgender movement.
The Biden administration has written a federal regulation to replace the words “woman,” “mother,” “father,” “his,” and “hers” from the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA).
Lawmakers intended the PWFA to prevent employers from discriminating against pregnant women — but the reality that only women can have babies conflicts with Biden’s transgender activism.
Biden not only wants to literally erase women from the legal code, but he wants to get rid of the term “paternity,” because he says it’s too masculine. He’ll replace the term with “parentage,” which he says is more “inclusive” of diverse “family structures.”
The Biden administration thought they could sneak this rule — which was written for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) — into the Federal Register without voters finding out… but they blew it.
Conservative, pro-family, and pro-reality groups sounded the alarm about the supposedly “anti-discrimination” ordinance, calling tens of thousands of people to raise their voice against it.
One of those groups, CatholicVote, inspired 27,235 people to submit comments during the time when the federal government has to let citizens weigh in on proposed rules and regulations.
“If the EEOC and the Biden administration have any meaningful interest in ‘the will of the people,’ this figure is incontrovertible evidence that the vast majority of politically-engaged Americans reject the EEOC’s unconscionable regulation,” said CatholicVote Director of Governmental Affairs Tom McClusky.
Even adopting a non-binding resolution would help adopt transgender pronouns and terms like “pregnant people,” he said.
“Saying the rule would represent a ‘legal position’ but not be ‘legally binding’ is sending a clear message to employers with Judeo-Christian values – you are on notice,” McClusky said.
Like all of Biden’s attempts to embed left-wing ideology in the government, this isn’t just one regulation; it’s a “whole of government” campaign to deny biology and radicalize the language on behalf of the federal authorities.
The Biden administration proposed another rule in September doing the same thing in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS).
That rule would cleanse the legal code of all traditional family terms related to child support laws.
That was too much for six U.S. senators, who dubbed the idea “Don’t Say Dad.”
“We urge you to rescind the proposed rule, acknowledge the essential role that mothers and fathers play in families, and focus your efforts on more important matters,” wrote the six senators.
“Your administration’s ‘Don’t Say Dad’ agenda is not only confusing, it does nothing to help single parents who are struggling to provide for their children.”
“We are disappointed that your administration is using CSE as a tool to advance radical gender ideology, rather than strengthening its ability to help families,” they told the Biden administration. “Americans understand that mothers and fathers are different, and that both parents play vital roles in raising their children. Federal regulations should uphold this fact rather than erasing the reality of biological sex in the law at the behest of left-wing activists.”
The Republicans who asked Biden to back off the pronoun jihad were Senators Marco Rubio of Florida, Oklahoma. James Lankford, North Dakota Sen. Kevin Cramer, Indiana Sen. Mike Braun, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Mississippi Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith.
Of course, none of this is new. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris began this agenda almost literally on day one of their joint administration.
When the Biden administration had to submit its first budget proposal in 2021, the HHS section replaced the term mothers with “birthing people.”
That sounds insane to most Americans, especially those who know dystopian novels.
“In ‘A Brave New World,’ society also abolished these words & turned them into obscenities,” said Ismail Royer, director of the Islam and Religious Freedom Action Team at the Religious Freedom Institute.
INSANE. The Biden Administration wants to abolish the words "mother" and "father" because they are not "inclusive."
In "A Brave New World," society also abolished these words & turned them into obscenities.

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said at the time there was no intent to offend mothers; they were just “trying to be precise with the language that we use.”
In 1992, the liberal media never lost a chance to humiliate then-Vice President Dan Quayle, who said America needed a greater commitment to “family values.”
It looks like America owes Dan Quayle an apology.
