Fox News was pranked by conservative star Mike Dice on Tuesday while live on-air.
Dice pretended to be an eyewitness to the Morgan State University shooting in Baltimore — but instead started defending Tucker Carlson and told Fox viewers to tune into Carlson’s show on Twitter, which releases a new episode every Tuesday.
“When you say poker game, what exactly happened, what transpired?” Fox News host Trace Gallagher asked Dice in the clip.
“Well, first, we were watching. We all get together every Tuesday night, and we watch Tucker Carlson’s show on X,” Dice replied, the new name for Twitter. “We used to watch him on Fox News. Obviously, he’s not there anymore.”
“And still being the most incredible guy in the media in America, we always get together to watch Tucker Carlson and think he’s probably doing better now that he’s not with Fox News because the corporate media always controls what the teleprompter readers are able to say,” he said before being cut off.
“Clearly, that was not a student at Morgan State University,” Gallagher told viewers.
Dice said it wasn’t a prank call, but a “culture jam” protest.
“Many people are saying I prank called Fox News live on the air last night, but that’s not true. I culture jammed them, it wasn’t a ‘prank call.’ Culture jamming is when you subvert the media in a creative way in order to use that same form of media to critique media itself. Get it right! (Does this mean I’m not getting invited to the Christmas party, Fox?),” he posted on Twitter with a laughing emoji.
