Dems want arrest of GOP Rep. Jim Jordan

The latest Democratic district attorney to indict President Donald Trump is now under investigation herself—and it has the Left so seething mad, some are demanding the arrest of Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis dropped a 41-count indictment against Trump and 18 other defendants last week, including 13 charges against Trump himself.

Last Thursday, Trump famously turned himself in and posed for a determined-looking mugshot… but Willis may end up in the same jail.

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is investigating whether Willis deliberately indicted Trump as a way to affect the 2024 presidential election.

Jordan has demanded Willis produce a plethora of documents about how she handled the investigation…and especially about whether she brought the charges to sideline Trump and bolster her fellow faltering Democrat, Joe Biden. Jordan told Fox News host Sean Hannity that his entire investigation comes down to just “three questions.”

“Did you coordinate with the Biden administration, the same administration who’s indicted their general election opponent in D.C. and Miami already?”

“Did you work with [Special Counsel] Jack Smith?”

“And did you use federal funds as part of this investigation?”

Was Fulton County DA Fani Willis working with Jack Smith?

Was she communicating with the Executive Branch?

Were any federal funds used in the investigation of President Trump?

People across the political spectrum wondered why the two-and-a-half-year investigation dragged on so long… and then came to a head just as the GOP primaries kicked off.

A federal judge even scheduled the first trial for March 4—the night before Super Tuesday, one of the most important events in any primary season.

During the investigation, Willis wrote, “This is business, it will never be personal.”

But Jordan doesn’t think that’s totally true. “It is noteworthy that just four days before this indictment, you launched a new campaign fundraising website that highlighted your investigation into President Trump,” wrote Jordan in his letter. Jordan said this “reinforces concerns about your motivation.”

Willis also refused to answer questions about whether she had been in touch with special counsel Jack Smith, who issued two indictments against Trump, about filing charges against the 45th president of the United States.

With a record like that, it’s “unsurprising many have speculated that this indictment and prosecution are designed to interfere with the 2024 presidential election,” said Jordan.

If she worked with the feds on putting Trump in jail on one of the four indictments facing the president, she wouldn’t be the first. “We asked these same questions of (Manhattan District Attorney) Alvin Bragg a few months ago, and he did in fact use American tax dollars to go after Donald Trump in Manhattan,” Jordan told Hannity late last week.

Jordan demands that Willis produce every communication she had with the DOJ or any other part of the Biden administration about the Trump indictment. He also wants her to account for every penny she received, or spent, on the investigation to see if any of it came courtesy of Washington, D.C.

Willis has to turn everything over bright and early on Sept. 7, by 10 a.m. sharp.

So far, she has clammed up, refusing to comment on the matter when asked by Bloomberg News.

“We are going to do our duty to get the answers the American people deserve on this ridiculous indictment,” said Jordan.

“There’s not equal application of the law. That’s obvious!” he said. “This is ridiculous.”

Jordan’s already taking massive backlash, ranging from juvenile insults to threats of putting Jordan in jail himself.

Even asking whether Biden arranged to have his most effective political opponent booked into jail and put on trial during the election is “stupid,” said the extremely liberal Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif.

That’s not good enough for some Democrats: They want to put Jim Jordan behind bars.

“He’s going to PRISON,” wrote Tamie Wilson, a Democrat running to defeat Jordan in the 2024 election.

“Jordan likely BROKE THE LAW,” she said. I can prove it.”

“Impeding a special investigation in ANY WAY is a CRIME,” she said.

If Jordan keeps asking questions, “He is DEFINITELY going to prison.”

She went on to ask her followers to join in ways “YOU can help punish him.” Wilson might want to punish Jordan as revenge, since in the 2022 election Jordan beat her like a drum, winning by more than a two-to-one margin.

🚨 BREAKING: My opponent Jim Jordan just launched an investigation into Fani Willis in an effort to obstruct justice.

Now he’s going to PRISON. 👇

Jordan likely BROKE THE LAW, violating O.C.G.A. § 16-10-24. I can prove it:

Not only could Jordan end up in jail, so could you.

The Fulton County D.A. has pushed back the way the Left regularly does—by claiming she’s been a victim of violence.

Willis has publicized some hate mail delivered to her. Plus, she’s publicly voiced concern about a deluge of hate mail coming any day now, and making terroristic threats is a prosecutable offense in Georgia.

At the same time, Willis has acknowledged that the content of the hate mail is “pretty typical.”

“It is not very unique,” Willis reportedly emailed her colleagues. “In fact, it is pretty typical and what I have come to expect. I am also aware of some equally ignorant voice mails coming in both to the county customer service and my office. I expect to see many more over the next 30 days … I guess I am sending this as a reminder that you should stay alert over the month of August and stay safe.”

Democrats trying to jail their political opponents, and average American citizens, for exposing the Left’s crimes?

How perfect.
