The mental acuity of 80-year-old President Joe Biden to do his job has been questioned by critics ever since he announced his 2020 presidential campaign.
On Monday, Biden deflected and instead took a shot at fellow Democratic leader and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s age.
Or, maybe he was just confused… again.
“With Nancy leading the way, you never had to worry about whether the bill would pass. If she said she had the votes, she had the votes every time,” Biden said with a smile at a recent speech.
“She had the votes so many… life changing pieces of legislation,” he stuttered.
“She helped rescue the economy int he Great Depression,” Biden said. The Great Depression lasted from 1929 to 1939, almost 100 years ago.
Not even Nancy Pelosi has been in office that long.
