Hunter Biden suing Tucker Carlson?!

Hunter Biden’s lawyers are normally making headlines for the federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s business practices, but now his lawyers are apparently targeting the ones writing the headlines, including Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

They reportedly threatened Carlson with a defamation lawsuit. More specifically, they reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter asking Fox News to retract a Tucker Carlson Tonight story deemed false by the Biden family.

Fox News has remained tight-lipped on the legal move. The network didn’t respond to some outlets’ requests for comment.

In another series of letters, Hunter’s legal team reportedly urged state and federal authorities to investigate those publicizing the first son’s data from the infamous laptop. For example, some letters urge state and federal prosecutors to investigate computer repairman Paul Mac Isaac of Delaware.

One lawyer, Abbe Lowell, reportedly sent the Internal Revenue Service a 36-page brief to dispute the nonprofit status of Marco Polo, an organization led by conservative activist Garrett M. Ziegler. Some nonprofits are barred from campaign activities, like endorsing political candidates, and Biden’s team wants the I.R.S. to review Marco Polo for this reason.

With Congress beginning a new term, Hunter Biden is likely to face scrutiny from the House Oversight Committee’s new GOP majority.

For example, the House recently created a subcommittee to review the possible weaponization of federal agencies, with some agencies accused of targeting political opponents.

In Hunter’s case, critics say that he’s making a desperate attempt to control the narrative.

“After skimming the letters, the only thing I see is a privileged person hiring yet another high-priced attorney to redirect attention away from his own unlawful actions,” Isaac’s lawyer told the Post Thursday. A spokesman for Rudy Giuliani echoed this sentiment in another comment to the Post.
