Fox News top star: ‘I’m sick of it!’

One of the biggest stars at Fox News Channel named names about the ‘Old Turtles’ that cost the Republican Party a shot at controlling the U.S. Senate after the 2022 midterm elections.

And she isn’t going to be quiet any longer.

During an appearance at a conservative activist summit AmericaFest, hosted by Turning Point USA over the weekend, Fox News host Laura Ingraham said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell cost the Republicans at the ballot box… and said she was “sick of it.”

“I’m not going to name names of who, you know, the type of people who kind of trash our candidates, a few months before the elections,” Ingraham said sarcastically during her speech Saturday night.

Then she coughed and said, “McConnell.”

“Ah, c’mon Laura, that’s not fair,” Ingraham said, imitating McConnell. “I’m very conservative.”

“You ever get the sense that the old turtles, the old dinosaurs in the GOP … think about what they did in these midterms,” she said. “You hear about well, ‘The Senate leadership spent all this money, they spent tens of millions of dollars.’ Think about the other stuff they did.”

Ingraham made a reference to McConnell disparaging candidates endorsed by former President Donald Trump’s — and shifting money from them during critical moments in the campaign.

“You know, they mucked around in New Hampshire supporting the candidate that was not, obviously, going to be the nominee: Bolduc,” Ingraham said.

“The powers that be did not like Blake Masters… and they obviously hated Herschel Walker,” she said, and claimed Democratic leaders were better at rallying voters to their candidates.

“Imagine if we backed our people like they back their people,” she said.

“We’re criticizing the people that have the courage and the guts to put their name and their reputation and everything they have, lay it all there?” Ingraham said about McConnell. “You know how hard it is to run for Senate? It’s not pleasant.”

“I should hope that our Senate minority leader gets his act together and stops the nonsense, because I’m sick of it,” she said.

“I’m sick of it.”
