For years, President Joe Biden’s mental health has been questioned by critics. At 79-years-old, Biden was the oldest person ever inaugurated president.
A survivor of two brain aneurysms, Biden’s long history of frequent gaffes have often concerned both allies and critics.
Those concerns grew much louder after the latest video went viral of Biden asking his wife, Jill, to tell him what to do while at a Thanksgiving event at the Army’s Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
“We owe you big. Thank you,” Biden told the soldiers to applause, but then seemed confused.
“Now… where am I supposed to go?” he asked Jill as he turns around. “Am I supposed to go… see how she points? Look at this. Get back here.”
“You can tell she’s a professor, can’t you?” he said, walking briskly towards his wife. “Well, I’m heading back Jill. I’m coming, I’m coming.”
Biden then remembered he was supposed to introduce the chaplain.
“The chaplain is going to lead us in a prayer before we eat,” he said.

The event set off a White House holiday season that is expected to be much more festive this year, as public health officials encourage those vaccinated against COVID-19 to get together in person, instead of begging Americans to stay home, as they’ve done for holidays past.
Those who doubt the effectiveness of the vaccines, developed by President Donald Trump’s administration, are encouraged to talk to their personal care doctor whom they trust.
The meal at Fort Bragg was held in a large hangar replete with pumpkin and pine cone centerpieces for about 250 servicemembers and families. Jill Biden spoke first, stepping out from behind a table to walk the room, talking to families about their late son, Beau, who served in the Delaware Army National Guard, and how she understood how hard it was to be away during holidays. She talked about how proud she was of the troops before introducing the president, who echoed her praise.
After the quick prayer from the chaplain, the Bidens walked behind the serving tables, donned gloves and aprons, and started dishing out the meal to waiting troops. Jill Biden scooped mashed potatoes, the president the stuffing. The troops were handed chocolate chip cookies with the presidential seal, and the long table was full of food including chocolate cakes.
