Police say an 81-year-old Pennsylvania woman chased down robbers who stole her purse, ramming their car with hers and leaving damage that helped officers apprehend them.
The woman was sitting her car in her Mount Pocono driveway on Tuesday when she was approached by a man and woman. As she talked to them through an open window, one grabbed her purse and they fled in a car.
Pocono Mountain Regional police say the woman took off after them and hit their car, but the duo drove off.
Officers found their damaged car in a grocery store parking lot.
Thirty-four-year-old William Hayhurst and 30-year-old Erin Vanmatre were arrested and arraigned Wednesday on robbery and other charges.
Police say the suspects targeted the woman after seeing her with cash at a pharmacy.

I am 63 years old and a small business man for the past 36 years. I have never in my life voted, so because of that I have not had the right to complain. I have always felt ( what good what it do to vote). The politicians will continue to lie and the government will continue to take advantage of the people. Well that ends this year, I have registered to vote for the first time in my life. I am tired of the government give always to the people that are to lazy to work. I am tired of the government dipping into our social security. Money that was never theirs to begin with. I am tired of the Obama administration going after our second amendment, Its time the people take our government back !! We can not do that with establishment politicians !! We need a savoy business man like Donald Trump. A man that doesn’t need special interest money, a man that stands for the people by the people. I believe that none of these typical labels fit him. In my opinion, he is an Independent Pragmatist who respects success wherever he sees it. He does not see opposition as enemies; but rather as competition. To me, he
represents the best of what the Democrat and Republican Parties used to be. I cannot imagine true Democrats ever voting for a Hillary or Bernie. Trump will be our next President.
Democrats will vote democrat no matter what. They are to brain washed to do anything else. Don’t know how to think for themselves and see what is wrong with this country.
Raazor: Good post expect, so will the Republicans. Let’s not be one sided here. I support Trump, however, don’t think he can do anything without the congress and the senate. Also, remember this, government is not a business nor was it set up to be a business. I do agree that it is out of control but let’s hope Trump can bring it back without hurting the the true ones that need assistance.
I listened to the first debate and decided then that I would support Trump. One of my best friends who is most likely a Republican came back and called him a big mouth or a blabber mouth and told me that probably we shouldn’t talk politics. Okay, I found where she had read my posts on FBook supporting Trump. I think he’s our best candidate for most of the same reasons the people above have listed. I intend to support him and will do so to the end. If I make a mistake, I won’t be alone and it was so good to see all the people above who are supporting him.
