It’ll still be a little more than a year before President Barack Obama rides off into the sunset – but plenty of angry American voters want to give him the send-off he deserves right now.
And that means impeachment.
For years members of Congress have offered a list of excuses for dragging their feet on impeachment. They’ve claimed that the move lacks popular support and that there are not enough votes in the Senate for an eventual conviction.
But as Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC) argued earlier this year, Obama’s questionable decisions and rampant abuses of power have left Congress with a “Constitutional duty” to act.
Here are just five reasons Obama deserves to be impeached:
Reason #1: Failing to secure American borders
Obama has made it easier than any president in U.S. history for illegal immigrants to remain in America. Under his immigration enforcement programs, up to 87 percent of illegals are basically safe from any deportation actions, according to a report from the Migration Policy Institute. The MPI report found that many of these illegals even have criminal records.
Obama has also failed to take action on so-called “sanctuary cities” like San Francisco, which refuse to cooperate with the federal government to apprehend illegal immigrants.
Reason #2: The disastrous Bowe Bergdahl trade
In 2014 Obama shocked Americans when he agreed to release five Taliban commanders in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who abandoned his post in Afghanistan. The prisoners released by Obama included a founder of the Taliban movement who had ties to Osama bin Laden, and a man who was still “encouraging acts of aggression,” according to his Guantanamo case file.
Reason #3: Veterans dying waiting for care
Obama has broken a promise America made to millions of its veterans. Reports emerged last year of veterans who were dying while waiting for medical appointments at Veterans Affairs hospitals. Some hospitals were even keeping secret waiting lists so administrators could meet performance objectives.
While President Obama promised to clean up the mess and make sure our veterans get the care they’ve earned, his efforts have been nothing short of incompetent. A year after the scandal first broke, the number of veterans on waiting lists had actually increased by 50 percent.
Reason #4: The IRS targeting scandal
As Rush Limbaugh said, President Richard Nixon only dreamed about doing what former IRS director Lois Lerner did under Obama’s watch. Under Lerner’s leadership, the IRS was accused of targeting conservative non-profit groups, including those with “Tea Party” in their names. Lerner eventually resigned in disgrace and was even declared in Contempt of Congress.
But an investigation by Obama’s Department of Justice clearer her of wrongdoing in the IRS scandal and she’s never been punished. In Lerner’s case, the Obama administration made a clear effort to avoid upholding the law.
Reason #5 The Benghazi cover-up
Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla) has called the Obama administration’s actions surrounding the 2012 attacks on an American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya the “greatest cover-up in American history.”
Four Americans died in the attacks, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
Obama and his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been accused of lying about what they knew about threats to the compound, and of failing to provide adequate security.
There also appears to have been a coordinated effort by the Obama administration to blame the attacks on a spontaneous reaction to a controversial YouTube video, even though officials knew the attack was coordinated in advance.

I have been churning out ideas on how to take action. For example, I set up a petition at Avaaz for people to sign for announcing that many, many people want Osama, sorry, Obama, out of office. My petition might be not adequately set up, I might not have the right emails to send to, etc., etc., etc. Nevertheless, I would like to have the feeling that I am not alone in taking action. I am personally ready to deliver a document, be it a Petition, a Peace Manifesto or anything that is provenly backed by, hopefully, millions of people, to let be known that we want a real change towards peace and understanding as a Human Race. I have signed every impeachment letter on the internet. I have emailed most of of republican congress and senate to no avail with no answer. I have replied to everyone that has sent me emails for contrbutions to unscrew what they. have screwe up. Everything should go through Congress unless it is something that is an eminent danger to our country that needs immediate attention and no time to go through Congress. Mr. Obama is not eligible to be us President according to the US Constitution. His status is a Federal Employee Occupying his position (POTUS) illegally. A Federal CODE prescribes immediate firing of such an employee with no more than 5 years in prison according to Dr. Edwin Vieira, Constitutional Scholar and historian, originator of the news service NewsWithViews. Mr. Obama is removable from POTUS (greater consequences than impeachment) because he is not who he says he is. His father IS NOT the Kenyan. I’ve been reading the comments, scrolling down and reading one after another and finally read one from an honest man. At least you admit to what others keep in the closet: a racist attitude that probably colors every opinion you have. Congress is now controlled by Republicans. They would have begun impeachment proceedings if there was any impeachable offenses. But those who advocated impeachment knew there were enough honorable Republicans in Congress that it go nowhere. Were they truly a giving person, did they GIVE TO SOCIETY, did they try with their lives to make a difference for people and their families. Did they live selfishly amassing great wealth to hoard selfishly or did they give to society selflessly. Were they a good steward with what had been given them in life, with their talents and opportunities? Are they BOASTERS, ARROGANT, PROUD of their accomplishments in life, braggarts? Or are they humble, reserved lived good lives. This was the error made the the currant administration with BO. this mans background speaks for itself, his life’s record should have been enough for those who voted for him to see plainly NOT TO VOTE FOR HIM! Then there is also our messed up voting system, it is flawed to begin with, it did not start out that way but has become a way for fraud to be committed in a seriously big way. Our nation needs to return to a hand count ballot, who cares if it takes a few days longer for an accurate count of our votes. When we consider what is at stake, the demise of THE GREATEST NATION THE WORLD HAS EVER BEEN WITNESS TOO. Why do or did people want to come to America in the first place? While President Obama promised to clean up the mess and make sure our veterans get the care they’ve earned, his efforts have been nothing short of incompetent. A year after the scandal first broke, the number of veterans on waiting lists had actually increased by 50 percent.
Reason #4: The IRS targeting scandal
As Rush Limbaugh said, President Richard Nixon only dreamed about doing what former IRS director Lois Lerner did under Obama’s watch. Under Lerner’s leadership, the IRS was accused of targeting conservative non-profit groups, including those with “Tea Party” in their names. Lerner eventually resigned in disgrace and was even declared in Contempt of Congress.
But an investigation by Obama’s Department of Justice clearer her of wrongdoing in the IRS scandal and she’s never been punished. In Lerner’s case, the Obama administration made a clear effort to avoid upholding the law.

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla) has called the Obama administration’s actions surrounding the 2012 attacks on an American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya the “greatest cover-up in American history.”

In Washington state,-( and however many other states have mail-in voting) after you MAIL IN your ballot, there is absolutely NO GUARANTEE how it will be counted.

I want information on how many FEMA camps are in the United States. We have a right to know where the camps are located and who they are for. But also as a christian another point is lacking here and that is when prayer etc. was taken out of school and our right to salute our flag and God left out altogether, America started downhill fast. If he hasn’t been impeached by now, it’s not going to happen. I wrote a long time ago that he should be impeached because he is a liar. This has been documented over and over, particularly with regard to Obamacare. Once somebody has been found to be a liar, you are no longer able to trust someone. How can you have a President that you can’t trust, where you can never be sure that anything he says is the truth?

S. to vote for him, and since 14 percent of the U. S. population is black, Obama became an automatic winner. The fact that he was born Muslim, raised Muslim, with a Muslim name, two Muslim fathers, living in a Muslim country, with Muslim ties, capable of talking in a Muslim language, was completely ignored by the vast majority of voters. And so you reap what you have sewn. This man will single handily change the U.S. into a Islamist compliant country. If you do not believe that, just listen to him. He will tell you that. He has done everything he could to help the U.S. become a Muslim country. I could go into thousands of words to convince of this, but I will spare you. After Iran/Contra scandal, many people in the Congress wanted to impeach Reagan, but they said that Reagan only had one year of his presidency left, and it is an embarrassment to the U.S. to keep impeaching Presidents, after the Nixon debacle. We do not have enough terrorists in the U.S., so Obama is not getting ready to import some more. Just you wait and see. You haven’t seen anything yet in the way of terrorism. Paris was just a little introduction. The Iran Nuclear Deal is enough just by itself to warrant an impeachment. I could make a case for impeachment all by myself. Now we have Hillary saying that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism. Can you believe it! As for the religion itself, think about India divided by the violence between Hindus and Muslims or the Crusades or our own “Bible Belt” being the home base for lynchings of Blacks. To people of the West this is radical Islam, but perhaps to the Islamic terrorists this is fundamental Islam! Unfortunately (with very few exceptions), I do not see too many so-called moderate Muslims denouncing and fighting back against the jihadists of their religion!! I have read several of your comments, some are correct and some I do not. To begin with, I believe it is 99.5%, which I believe, it is 99.99% of all Americans have NO ROOM to complain about the government. After all they elect the government officials whom “they” want to represent them in all levels of government, from local, state and federal levels. If my memory serves me correctly, at the federal, limit the terms of the president to 2 TERMS. However there NO term limits to the members of congress. There are members in congress who are serving 26 years or more in the house and there ar senators who are serving 4 or more terms. While all the justices in federal are in the Supreme Court are appointed for life. To me ALL MEMBERS in CONGRESS should be limit to 2 TERMS. As you know CONGRESS LIMIT the president to 2 terms and they did NOT limit their terms to 2 terms. To me, this is NOT RIGHT. Also the American people DO NOT VOTE FOR THE PERSON, THEY VOTE FOR THE PARTY. This is the major problem of the people. It they vote for the person and then they disagree with the way the government is running the country, then they have a legitiment complaint towards, then when the next election comes around they can vote them out of office. But when election time comes around, they vote fot the same person and they cuss and discuss them again. As for me, I am a registered Republican, but if I do not like the way the country is runned, then I will vote for the opposite party, or if there are more than two parties, or do not vote at all. So I still believe THAT ALL MEMBERS IN CONGRESS SHOULD BE LIMITED to 2 terms and ALL federal justices be limited to 6 years on the bench and NOT for life. But this has to be past by both houses of congress or make an ADMENMENT to the constitution. This may make, me so call un-
