Attorneys for the winner of a $487 million Powerball jackpot are announcing the winner’s philanthropic plans for the money.
The winning ticket for the July 30 drawing was sold at a supermarket in Raymond, New Hampshire, a town of about 10,000 residents.
The New Hampshire Lottery says attorneys will come forward on Monday. It’s unclear if the winner will make an appearance.
It’s the eighth largest U.S. lottery jackpot. The lump sum option is worth $330.6 million.
Tickets are sold in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

If I ever had the chance to win something like that, I am debt free but I’d clear my 2 kids debts , get them into a nice home that fits, I’d help several friends that I know work really hard and are struggling. I’d stock up on food, pet items for a couple of people that take in rescue pets all of which are non profit. I’ve helped so many through the years and God gives us the ability to continue doing so. This would take care of a lot of people.

Congratulations to the POWER BALL WINNER. My advice is to keep a low profile and move out of DODGE.

ITS NICE TO HAVE MONEY. THE BEST PART OF THIS IS YOU DIDNT HAVE TO WORK FOR IT, SOMEBODY ELSE DID. AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES IT GREAT.

I think I would help Bill and Hillary Clinton, as when they left the White House, they were broke. I would give them 5 buck’s to help pay for their lawyer for the stuff that they took from the WH. Then I would help dog shelter’s that really do need the money. There is a real need for places for our VA people to stay, as well as homeless in general.. With several hundred millions, you could really help out. Our government is lacking in that area

I’m sure that wasn’t the first ticket the winner has bought. Those hard earned dollars invested, not to mention the time and effort that went into going to buy them. Wish I’d done that, I always invest my lottery money’s in the wrong tickets.
