Olympian figure skater Adam Rippon has not shied away from using Vice President Mike Pence as a ply to get his 15 seconds of fame.
Rippon has repeatedly criticized Pence for his Christian faith — and accused the vice president of prejudice against homosexuals.
A fed up Donald Trump Jr. had enough of the criticism and took to Twitter to destroy Rippon’s narrative.
An article published on The Hill features a quote from Rippon stating, “the Olympics are about the Olympic competition,” not political figures — poking at jab at Pence.
In response to Rippon’s ignorant comment, Trump Jr. fired off a witty tweet —
Really? Then Perhaps you shouldn’t have spent the past few weeks talking about him. I haven’t heard him mention you once??? https://t.co/8lcCsoyBsq

Trump Jr. could not have said it any better. Social media users chimed in with their agreeing statements —

The vice president has showed more class and maturity than this figure skater every could.
After their ‘feud’ began, Pence publicly offered his support to Rippon during the Olympics. And did Rippon ever respond? Of course not.
As pointed out by Trump Jr., Rippon claims to want the Olympics to be about the competition — but it appears, he is the only one revolving the games around Pence.
