The 2018 midterms have hardly finished—and already literally dozens of Democrats are planning to run against Donald Trump in 2020.
The Horn News has drawn up this partial list to show our readers where the presidential race stands right now.
Elizabeth Warren. The Massachusetts senator became the first candidate to take a step toward running, forming a presidential exploratory committee in an embarrassing video announcement that showed her awkwardly drinking a beer. Warren was once the darling of Democrats who are obsessed with redistributing taxpayers’ money.

But many analysts say that Pocohontas ruined her chances of getting elected by taking a DNA test which proved she has less American Indian blood than the average American citizen.
Tulsi Gabbard. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii told CNN’s Van Jones last week that she will run for president. The first Hindu in Congress accused her fellow Democrats of anti-Catholic “bigotry” for slamming Trump’s judicial nominee Brian Buescher over his membership in the Knights of Columbus.
She’s also an outspoken critic of U.S. involvement in endless foreign wars, like Syria. But her meeting with Bashar Al Assad have put her in hot water with the left-wing media.
Julian Castro. Castro, who Barack Obama tapped as his HUD secretary, officially announced he’s running for president in 2020…and that’s bad news for taxpayers and the border.
He’s in favor of amnesty and wants to release illegals with an ankle bracelet! He’s also said that maybe taxes should be hiked to an astronomical 90%!
Kamala Harris. Harris hardly got into the U.S. Senate before she sent signals that she’s running. Harris probably gained some traction after her offensive “joke” about murdering President Trump or VP Pence.

As California’ attorney general, she became Barack Obama’s favorite state official when she prosecuted journalists for filming undercover videos of Planned Parenthood illegally selling babies’ body parts. And she’s attacked Brian Buescher for his position on the Knights of Columbus board, so it’s easy to see where she stands on religious freedom.
Beto O’Rourke. O’Rourke wants to lose his way right into the Oval Office.
He hasn’t officially announced, but the failed Democratic candidate thinks losing against Ted Cruz last year qualifies him to run for president next year. He does have incredible charisma…many compared him to young Barack Obama. And he’s already met with Barack Obama to discuss a 2020 presidential run.
But are good looks and a fake Hispanic name enough to catapult an unknown loser into the White House?
Bernie Sanders. Despite the Left mocking Trump for his age, their golden boy would be 79 years old on inauguration day. Sanders is notorious for his socialist views while also owning multiple expensive homes.
His plans for “free” services would drop crushing taxes on the middle class while still adding trillions to the deficit. He’s also come under fire after women on his 2016 campaign say men on Sander’s staff commonly sexually harassed them and his response wasn’t up to snuff.

Sanders has not yet declared but is keeping his options open for 2020.
Cory Booker. The New Jersey senator, who compared himself to Spartacus during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, is expected to run—but only thanks to the media’s double standard. It came out during the Brett Kavanaugh controversy that Booker had groped a high school friend.
If he runs you can bet that the only people bringing this up will be Republicans.
Kirsten Gillibrand. Sen. Gillibrand from New York decided to enter the race on Tuesday.
She goes in with $10.5 million in her war chest—but not much else. She has low name recognition and is already drawing controversy from her fellow Democrats for promising to serve her full term in the Senate just a year ago.

Jay Inslee. The governor of Washington has plans to visit New Hampshire, in order to overcome his low name recognition. He made Washington a “sanctuary state” by executive order, threatening to fire anyone who would help the feds deport criminal illegals.
His idea of a threat is Christian florists who won’t arrange flowers for a gay wedding. He plans to make the environment his top issue, so plan to hear non-stop sermons about how we need to stop using plastic straws.
Terry McAuliffe. The former Virginia governor and close Clinton confidante says he’s thinking about a presidential bid. McAuliffe went a long way toward making Virginia a blue state by giving 168,000 convicted felons the right to vote two years ago.

The former Virginian Governor was a co-chair on Hillary’s 2008 election campaign, but he’s run if it means that he won’t have to go up against her. If he wins, he could make his buddies, the Clintons, relevant again.
Sherrod Brown. Ohio senator Brown plans to test the waters with a trip to Iowa—and he’s already lined up a campaign manager, if he decides it’s a go.
Brown’s wife likes to claim that Brown, who focuses on heartland economic issues, will deliver what Trump promised. If Biden or Sanders start to look shaky, expect Brown to jump into the race.
Tom Steyer. The California billionaire who financed the “impeach Trump” movement announced on that he is not running for president in 2020.
Steyer realizes he might be able to enough Democrats to can impeach Donald Trump, but nobody has enough money for Steyer to beat Trump in a fair election.
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti have met with Hillary Clinton, and the losing candidate for governor of Florida last year, Andrew Gillum, has met with Barack Obama.
A few big names have not made a decision yet: Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and John Kerry.
But Hillary wants to be president so bad she can taste it. Biden’s the frontrunner in all the polls. And Kerry has wanted to run since 2004.
Look for one, or two, of them to join.
Finally – remember, not all Trump’s challengers could be Democrats. The Establishment has tried to make President Trump’s life a living hell by recruiting a “Republican” challenger for him in the primaries. The chief names floated have been Mitt Romney, John Kasich, or Jeff Flake.

An independent run could also come from fellow New York billionaire Michael Bloomberg. He claims that he would self-fund his race, and potentially run as a Democrat.
