It was reportedly an open secret in Hollywood for years — and it seems like they’re quietly trying to sweep it under the rug. Children’s television station Nickelodeon is breaking ties with the creator of some of its top shows.
Rumors have circulated that this breakup was not a friendly goodbye — but rather, executive producer Dan Schneider was given the boot after claims of perversion surfaced.
Red State reported in October on Schneider’s alleged “fondness” of little girls and his strange foot fetish. Critics say it is not coincidence, that in the wake of the #MeToo movement, he was canned.
Schneider has worked with the children’s television network since 1993.
There was no mention of the rampant rumors of sexual impropriety by the network. In a joint statement, Nickelodeon, Schneider and his production company, Schneider’s Bakery, agreed it “is a natural time” to pursue other opportunities and projects because several Schneider’s Bakery projects are wrapping up.
But, rumors are swirling that the network wanted to get ahead of any scandal that could have damaged their reputation.
Deadline confirmed, “But along with all his success, for years Schneider had been under a cloud of suspicion over the treatment of some younger stars of his shows.”
One child actor spoke with Red State on the condition of anonymity and claimed “My friend was molested by that man… on set. Everyone knew it. No one said a word.”
On social media, one user collected scenes from some of Schneider’s Nickelodeon shows and claimed they show a troubling pattern of sexual innuendos.

The thread of scenes from some of Schneider’s shows goes on, and on — and includes more rumors of a foot fetish.
Following the ousting of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, the heat has been turned up on alleged sexual perverts that have been running liberal Hollywood for years industry.
Schneider is simply the latest target —
