A recent poll shows President Donald Trump’s approval rating skyrocketed in the past month, proof that the mainstream media does not reflect the ideas of the general public.
The poll from Rassmussen Reports shows exactly half of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing as President – up from the lowest it’s ever been at 42% in April.
His highest approval came in January just after his inauguration when he had a whopping 59% approval rating.
Trump cheered on his latest rating in a tweet Sunday:
The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election, just out with a Trump 50% Approval Rating. That's higher than O's #'s!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 18, 2017
His averages so far have passed the ratings of both former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
According to Gallup, Obama finished his tenure as President with an average approval rating of 47.9%.
Trump’s approval rating is higher than Clinton’s in his first term, according to Newsmax in early June, before the skyrocket.
At the time of their report, Trump had an approval rating of 39.8 percent, according to RealClearPolitics, while Clinton had an approval rating of 27.8 according to the FiveThirtyEight blog.
And while the mainstream media continues to hammer Trump about alleged FBI investigations, it’s clear they are missing the mark with Americans, who, at least 50% of don’t seem to have an issue with.
And even though Trump tweeted about his approval rating, the mainstream media will continue to ignore it.
Katie Frates of Olympic media has recognized he media bias, saying, “This is good news for Trump. No one’s covering this – you have to wonder why.”
But it’s safe to assume it would be too inconvenient for the mainstream media to report on, since it would contradict their months long Anti-Trump effort.
