Notorious anti-Trump actress Alyssa Milano took to Twitter Sunday to poll her liberal followers on if they would like to see President Donald Trump resign — but it blew up right in her face.
After receiving over 112,000 responses, her poll stood at exactly 50% saying they would like to see him resign and 50% saying the opposite.
The results are surprising, considering the majority of her followers share her anti-Trump mindset.
POLL: Would you like to see #TrumpResign?

Milano, a extremely vocal critic of Trump and his administration in the past, was clearly upset her poll didn’t go as planned.
She retweeted actor George Takei before the biased poll closed, calling on anit-Trump users to “pile on” votes to skew the results.
Let's pile some votes on, friends. The Trump bots are trying to mess with this. https://t.co/ynU8Sxbnrb

The attempt failed — and Milano hasn’t mentioned the poll since.
Milano and Trump voters have had an on-going feud on social media since the election, most notable last week following the violence in Charlottesville.
She took to Twitter following the horrific violence and, as expected, blamed Trump.
We've gone so far backwards under @realDonaldTrump that this 1943 video is crazy relevant. https://t.co/mkT5fBoWeW

When she faced backlash from his supporters who argued that he could not be blamed for the rise of white supremacy, she had an ironically violent response: “Go f**k yourselves.”
It’s a consistent mindset in Hollywood that their elitist, liberal opinions matter to average Americans.
Maybe this poll will finally help Milano realize how incredibly out-of-touch she is.
