It’s what could turn into a model program for assimilation. One that teaches refugee newcomers to the country about local faith, values and tradition.
It’s already showing signs of success in the War on Terror… thanks to Christianity returning to schools.

But if it was ever attempted here in the United States, you can bet angry leftist mobs would storm the streets over it!
It’s no secret that Europe is paying the price for years of unchecked illegal immigration from the Middle East.
While most newcomers are struggling families looking for a better life – and willing to work for it, too – more than a few have much darker intentions, as violent Islamic terror attacks in Europe have shown.
Now, Denmark is taking steps to isolate that evil and ensure that immigrant children and children of recent arrivals don’t fall under the spell of those intent on causing chaos instead of building new homes.

All immigrant children in the country’s “ghetto” areas will have to go to school to learn about the country — and Christianity.
“Ghetto” is an official term in Denmark, not slang, and refers to places where two-thirds of the population are immigrants – places where the community is at risk of becoming insular.
As we know from tragic experience, these are places where extremists hide, thrive and recruit young people to their sick cause.
One reason they succeed in that recruitment effort is that they prey on disaffected people who have never fully assimilated, don’t know the local language or customs, and are often unemployed and in some cases unemployable because of it.
They’ll have a tougher time now as the new law will bring immigrants up to speed so they can learn, succeed and thrive in their new homes.

From the age of just 1, children in these areas will spend 25 hours a week learning about Denmark and its history, customs, language and faith.
Denmark is more than 75 percent Christian, mostly evangelical Lutherans, with roughly 10 percent agnostics and 10 percent atheists.
Just one half of one percent are Muslims.
No one is forcing them to convert or even suggesting it, but when you move to a new country it only makes sense to learn about those who are hosting you.

As a result, these children will learn about all of the nation’s major holidays including Easter and Christmas.
Imagine the outrage if that happened here in the United States!
Yet in Denmark, the new law was passed with bipartisan support as the nation recognizes the urgency of integrating the wave of Muslim arrivals to ensure everyone lives in understanding.
That’s not the only step Denmark has taken to combat the rising tide of extremism.
They’ve also just banned garments that completely cover the face such as the infamous burqa and banned anyone from attempting to force a woman into wearing these coverings (which is often the case with extremists).

The law achieved something no law here ever could right now: sweeping bipartisan support. It was back by both the ruling coalition, which is center-right, as well as the main opposition party, which is center-left.
Again, this is common sense.
When faced with our own form of masked extremist decades ago, many communities in the American South also banned face coverings.
It’s one way they broke the back of the evil KKK.
Can America do the same for evil Islamic terrorists… or will the politically correct left stop it?
