In the aftermath of the 2020 election, legal battles are ramping up as President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden square off over the results of the election.
But there’s one voice in the room that’s clearly been rather quiet ever since the mainstream media declared the race over on Saturday.
Vice President Mike Pence.
He’s kept a low profile as the president makes a last-ditch effort to reclaim the Oval Office. He has said little on social media and notably avoiding the spotlight as the president, his team, and select allies in Congress insist that all legal votes are counted — and illegal votes thrown away — before declaring the election over.
He’s noticbly absent from the front lines defending his president.
Only recently has Pence publicly broken his silence amid news of Pfizer’s successful COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough, touting its effectiveness in volunteer patients before finally declaring that the race “ain’t over.”
“Told @VP Team Today: ‘it ain’t over til it’s over .. and this AIN’T over!’” he wrote. “President @realDonaldTrump has never stopped fighting for us and we’re gonna Keep Fighting until every LEGAL vote is counted.”

Where is Pence taking his fight?
On vacation.
According to Associated Press, which acquired flight logs from the Federal Aviation Administration, the Vice President is preparing to take a week off for a vacation in Florida.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, whose had his verbal brawls with Trump in the past, questioned where Pence had been over the weekend.
The Boston Herald, which endorsed Trump, speculated that his move away from the spotlight could be a play for 2024.
Whatever the case may be, the timing is interesting to say the least.
