Alex Bruesewitz, a top campaign adviser for President-elect Donald Trump, collapsed during a keynote speech at a Republican gala last night.
The scary incident sent the crowd into a frenzy, prompting immediate medical attention in front of a concerned crowd.
While onstage during a New York Young Republican Club gala Sunday night, Bruesewitz was reportedly introducing incoming White House senior aide Dan Scavino when he started slurring his words and subsequently fainted in front of hundreds attending the event.
Video footage capture the entire event. Warning: the footage may be frightening.

Several people rushed to his aid after he collapsed.
According to reports from those in attendance and additional video footage that captured the start of Bruesewitz’s speech, nothing appeared to be off as he commended the New York Republican Club for backing Trump, and gave shout-outs to a number of Trump supporters at the event, including former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.
The cause of Bruesewitz’s scary collapse was not known, but Master of ceremonies Raheem Kassam, who is a former aide of British conservative politician Nigel Farage, told the audience soon after that Bruesewitz was fine backstage and that he even asked a question.
“I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz and you know what he said to me? He goes, ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said, ‘Alex, you used gravity like I’ve seen nobody use gravity before in their lives,’” Kassam said. “But he’s recuperating back there, so give him a big cheer so he’ll hear you.”

Following the scary incident, Trump called in to the event and sent his well wishes to his loyal adviser.
“I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun,” Trump said over the phone.
“There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”
According to the New York Post, Bruesewitz is the CEO of X Strategies LLC, which lists its mission as helping elect America First candidates, according to its website.
“Bruesewitz has been the driving force behind the efforts to defeat Republicans who fight against Trump and the MAGA movement and works to replace them with Republicans who fight for values we hold dear,” an excerpt from his X Strategies website states.
