Monday morning, he was available to the public in somewhere unexpected.
A viral video captured Trump leaving his 5th Avenue skyscraper in New York City after an unannounced — and the footage multiplied on YouTube channels across the platform.
Trump left the skyscraper to what sounded like a mixed response, although there seemed to be more positive cheers than boos. The 45th president waves briefly to the crowd briefly before being escorted by his security detail.
It may perhaps be evidence that Trump’s influence is still strong despite his absence from the public spotlight.

Texas runoff election candidate Susan Wright lost by a reported 2,000 votes to her opponent, but in Ohio, Mike Carey scored a critical win in the Republican primary for an empty House seat.
Pundits are desperately making attempts to read the tea leaves as to whether or not Trump’s sway will hold.
But it’s likely that it’s simply too early to tell.
But what we do know, is that among the people, he still seems as popular as ever — which is awful news for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and company.
And perhaps that’s all that will matter, come 2024.
