Fox News host Laura Ingraham shared some “personal health” news during a recent episode of The Ingraham Angle. She gave an update on an injury from last month.
“It started with a fun day of skiing in Colorado with my boys over MLK weekend when, the last run, they challenged mom to a race. Of course, I took the bait,” Ingraham said on air. “I won the race, to the Aspen hospital E.R.”
Ingraham briefed her audience about her progression in physical therapy. She thanked her family for showing up, and she thanked her doctor for diagnosing her outside his normal business hours.
“The amazing Steadman Clinic told me the bad news. As I suspected, I blew out the knee, two ligaments, the ACL, the PCL — major bummer,” Ingraham said. “He wasn’t even on call that day.”
“My family rallied here: my brother Jimmy, my sister-in-law Stephanie,” Ingraham continued. “I didn’t wipe out once, until I took the bait.”
The Fox News host also revealed that her orthopedic surgeon in Los Angeles had operated on the knee and connected her with physical therapists.
“One of the best orthopedic sports docs in the United States told me, ‘Don’t worry.’ He’d operate and get me with the best rehab folks. And, boy, did he!” Ingraham said. “It’s going to be kind of a long road ahead, of rehab, but we’re going to get there. Thanks to everyone out there for your prayers and your concern.”

Almost a week earlier, Ingraham, 59, had revealed details about the accident.
“Hit the ice, ski didn’t release, heard a snap,” Ingraham recounted at the time.
“I immediately knew it was my ACL, because I’d done my other knee at the same resort 20 years ago… On the bright side, I finally might get some sleep. I’m going to try to be back early next week.”
