Former Secretary of State and twice failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was all smiles and laughs after former President Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies in his controversial Manhattan trial on Thursday.
She also rushed to cash in on Trump’s felony convictions.
Appearing at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for the Global Leadership Awards in Washington, D.C. after the conviction news broke, Hillary made a not-too-subtle reference to the legal struggles of her political rival.
The 2016 Democratic nominee, who lost the election to Trump after he mercilessly attacked her as “Crooked Hillary,” was all smiles.
“Thank you, thank you so much,” Hillary told the laughing crowd in D.C. “Anything going on today?”
A gleeful Hillary grinned after the line, prompting uproarous cheers — a “ghoulish” display, according to critics.
“Well, I have to tell you, there’s nowhere I’d rather be than right here,” she said, drawing further laughs.

Of course, the Clinton team wasn’t the only Democratic Party insiders taking delight in Trump’s conviction. According to reports, members of the White House and Biden’s reelection campaign “broke out into cheers” when Trump was ruled guilty.
Trump himself responded to the verdict by calling it “disgraceful” and saidthe “real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people,”
Not one to let an opportunity to cash in slip by, earlier in the day Clinton’s team revealed new merchandise from her “Onward Together” PAC. They claimed on social media that the products just so “happened to be finalized today.”
