The Democratic Party’s response to President Donald Trump’s joint speech to Congress earlier this week has been a mixed bag.
Ahead of Trump’s first speech to Congress, Democratic leader Chuck Schumer unleashed a viral social media video branded ‘S— That Ain’t True.”
It was aimed at disputing Trump’s success in his first 100 days in office.
Then of course you had Rep. Al Green throwing a tantrum during the middle of Trump’s speech, prompting him to get kicked out of the Capitol.
But the party’s latest move is downright embarrassing.
Democrats on social media were mocked by conservatives on over a viral video in which several of the elected officials pretended to be video game characters in a “choose your fighter parody.”
The video, posted by social media influencer Jessica Woo, featured Dem. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, Lauren Underwood, Katherine Clark, Judy Chu, and Susie Lee.
The congresswomen in the video could be seen jumping up and down in a fighting position as if they were video game characters, along with attributes describing their accolades and attributes.
If you have yet to see it. Here it is.

AOC revealed in the video that she is a “Trekkie.”
Clark, 61, who is also the minority whip, said she doesn’t like hair dye.
Crockett, 43, disclosed she’s not a morning person and Underwood, 38, insisted she doesn’t like balloons.
“One of the worst parts about this: the Choose Your Fighter trend was popular on TikTok like 3 years ago,” journalist Peter Hamby wrote in response to their attempt.
Even CNN mocked the video release.
This might be the best CNN Scott Jennings clip yet.

Kudos to you if you managed to watch the entire 20 seconds of the video.
However, in response to the cringe-worthy response from AOC and her friends, The White House dropped a video response of their own.
Only this one is real, authentic, and not embarrassing.
The White House montage showed President Trump, Vice President JD Vance and other members of the Republican’s administration with the caption “America Chose Its Fighters Last November.”

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was on horseback and Attorney General Pam Bondi was speaking at a press conference while border czar Tom Homan was walking away from a helicopter in parts of the clip.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, FBI Director Kash Patel and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick also had cameos in the video.
