A Virginia boy who claimed to have briefly died after a swimming accident last November said that during his near-death experience, he met Jesus and was shown visions about America’s future in the year 2026.
A viral video is reportedly from a Jeremy Ludwig, who said he experienced “oxygen shock” after nearly drowning on November 22, 2025 and was clinically dead for approximately three minutes before being revived by paramedics. What happened during those minutes, he claims, changed his life forever.
“I met Jesus,” the young boy said in a viral video that has been seen hundreds of thousands of times online. “I saw light that moved like love itself, and he showed me something about the world’s future, and a man everyone talks about, Donald Trump. This isn’t about fear, it’s about what’s coming and why we must stay awake.”
The incident reportedly occurred at a lake near the Ludwig family’s home. Jeremy was swimming with his cousin when his foot cramped underwater. Despite attempts to reach the surface, he lost consciousness.
“I remember praying under that water. No fancy words, just, God, I’m scared,” Jeremy recalled. “And right then, silence. No bubbles, no sound, just stillness.”
According to the video voice ov account, during those minutes when his heart had stopped, he experienced what is known as a near-death experience. He describes being lifted from his body and entering what he said was a place of radiant light where he encountered Jesus.
“When that figure stepped closer, everything around slowed until even thought stopped moving,” Jeremy said. “Jeremy, a voice said, and I knew it before I saw him. It wasn’t thunder. It was familiarity, like every lullaby, every kindness, every prayer I’d ever whispered, all speaking at once.”
In his account, Jesus showed him visions of the future, particularly focusing on the year 2026 and the United States. According to Jeremy, the message he received was not one of doom, but of awakening.
“The year 2026 will test hearts, not politics,” Jeremy says Jesus told him in the video. Regarding President Trump specifically, Jeremy claims Jesus said the president “is being used for a purpose even he does not fully see. In 2026, hearts will divide before they unite.”
“He is a mirror,” Jesus allegedly told him. “When the people look at him, they see what they love or fear in themselves.”
Tell them to pray for him, not about him,” Jeremy recalls being told in the video voice over. “The nation’s healing depends less on his decision than on theirs.”
The voice over describes seeing visions of people across America choosing compassion over conflict, and neighbors helping each other during difficult times.
“This year begins an unveiling,” Jeremy says Jesus told him. “Of hearts, of intentions, of what people truly trust.”
According to Jeremy, the message he received was that America would experience a period of purification where “fear melted, pride dissolved, and hidden kindness re-emerged.”
He describes seeing people dropping arguments, strangers embracing, and old wounds healing through forgiveness in the video voice over.
“My fire is mercy wearing light,” Jeremy recalls Jesus saying. “Tell them not to fear purification. Fear comfort without truth.
The young boy says he was also shown that prayer and acts of compassion would be more powerful than political action in shaping the future
“Every whisper alters eternity,” Jeremy says Jesus told him about the power of prayer.
When Jeremy regained consciousness in the hospital, his mother asked what had happened.
“I met him,” he whispered. “And he said, the world is about to wake up.”
His mother said she decided to share her son’s story publicly because “if something this real happens, it’s not for us to hide.”
Near-death experiences have been reported throughout history, with many people describing similar elements including bright lights, feelings of peace, and encounters with religious figures.
Skeptics attribute such experiences to oxygen deprivation, but those who experience them often describe profound and lasting spiritual impacts.
