House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., became steaming mad outside of Capitol Hill Wednesday afternoon… because the mainstream media started asking her tough questions.
And the camera caught every second of it!
San Francisco Chronicle reporter Tal Kopan was following Pelosi in a scrum of journalists and photographers following the congresswoman out of Capitol Hill.
“Do you have any regrets about not bringing the house back in August to keep the flame lit on gun violence?” Kopan asked.

“No, absolutely not!” Pelosi snapped back. “We did our job. The Senate was supposed to come back.”
Tension flared in her voice as she blamed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. for gun violence. “Why don’t you all get that straight?” Pelosi demanded of the media reporters. “The Senate did not come back to pass the bill.”
Then she stopped walking and became more irritated.
“I’m getting very angry about the silliness of these questions. Lives are at stake. Senator McConnell is standing in the way. We passed our bill in February. Members had events all over the country to ask him to bring up the bill… ”
She pointed her finger in the reporter’s face as she spoke.
“Don’t ask me what we haven’t done!” she yelled. “We’ve done it. And if you are annoyed with my impatience, it’s because people are dying while Senator McConnell hasn’t acted. Why don’t you go ask him if he has any regrets for all the people who died he hasn’t acted.”

Asked Pelosi about not bringing the House back in August to work on guns and she was maybe the angriest I’ve seen her:
