Former Vice President Kamala Harris is finally giving her two cents about the war in Iran.
And it went about as poorly as you’d imagine.
Harris was mocked by critics after she rebuked President Trump’s address to the nation on Iran earlier this week, a speech Harris said she refused to watch.
In a bizarre rant posted on X prior to Trump’s speech, Harris predicted that the president would move to “claim victory” in Iran, but asserted that the “reality is we’re watching what he does instead of listening to what he says.”
“He brought America into a war that people don’t want, he has put American troops in harm’s way, costs are rising by the day, and meanwhile he has done nothing to address the needs of the people of America,” Harris said in the 30-second video.
Harris also announced that she “won’t be able” to watch the address.

However, her video quickly turned into fodder across social media for those critical of the Biden administration and their handling of policy in the Middle East.
Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff, said Harris’ critiques behind the lens were nothing more than aspirations “to run for President” again.
Republican Rep. Tom Emmer praised Trump for having “the guts” that the Biden administration sorely lacked.
“It’s pretty disgraceful for you to claim President Trump has done nothing to meet the needs of the American people. Here’s the truth: He’s cleaning up the chaos YOU caused here in the United States and across the globe, and is making America great again,” Emmer wrote on X.

Radio host Larry O’Connor succinctly wrote, “Bullet dodged.”
White House spokesperson Anna Kelly teased that Harris “should listen to the overwhelming majority of Americans who want her to crawl under a coconut tree and go away” in a statement to Fox News.
