Vice President Kamala Harris was confronted by a Delaware Democratic state leader over the Israel-Hamas war on Monday — and video of the explosive confrontation quickly went viral.
The incident occurred inside Harris’ U.S. Naval Observatory home in Washington, D.C. during a holiday party for Democratic state and local officials.
Harris was in the middle of a speech when Delaware state Rep. Madinah Wilson-Anton, a fellow Democrat, stood up with a sign that read “ceasefire” and began to shout down the vice president.
“Madam Vice President, I am a rep from Delaware!” Wilson-Anton yelled. “Did you know in Bethlehem they are not celebrating Christmas!?”
“Did you know in Bethlehem, baby Jesus is under rubble?” she yelled. “Why won’t you call for a cease-fire?”
Harris was flustered and shot back that she was speaking.
“I appreciate you wanting to be heard, but right now I’m speaking,” Harris shot back as Wilson-Anton was quickly escorted out of the party.
“Call for a cease-fire now,” Wilson-Anton shouted as security took her from the premises.
Later, Wilson-Anton, a far-Left socialist, wrote, “Christmas is cancelled in Bethlehem” and shared the video on social media.
