Less that one week left in his presidency, and Americans have given President Joe Biden a failing grade according to a new USA Today/Suffolk University survey.
The survey, which was released Tuesday, said 44% of voters nationwide say history will assess Biden as a failed president.
27% say he will be judged as a fair president.
21% said history will view Biden as a good president, and only 5% saying he will be seen as a great president.
Given the results of the recent presidential election, this news shouldn’t come as a shock to many.
The poll also addressed President-elect Donald Trump, which surprisingly was similar to that of Biden.
According to the poll, 44% also say that Trump will be seen by history as a failed president.
But 20% say that Trump, who begins his second term next week, will be viewed as a great president, with 19% saying good and 17% saying he would be judged a fair president.
Trump ended his first term in office with approval ratings in negative territory, including 47% approval in Fox News polling from four years ago.
However, 52% of those surveyed say they approve of the job Trump did during his first term in office.
And as for Trump’s second term?
31% said they were excited Trump was returning to the White House, with 18% saying they were satisfied. However, 12% said they were depressed and 31% are afraid of a second Trump presidency.
