President Donald Trump has been making claims that former President Barack Obama illegally wiretapped his phones, and this week there was further evidence.
California Rep. Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, stunned reporters Wednesday, saying, “I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions, the intelligence community collected information on U.S. individuals involved in the Trump transition.”
Nunes added that he was “alarmed” that this sensitive information “ended up in reporting channels and was widely disseminated.”
With further investigation on the horizon that is expected to confirm this information, Obama critics are calling for him to be locked up for the illegal surveillance of a U.S. citizen.
