After months of championing for former president Donald Trump on the proverbial sidelines to his massive media empire, former Fox News host and conservative pundit Tucker Carlson has finally made it official.
He’s joining Donald Trump on the campaign trail. A move that could significantly impact the outcome of the presidential election that is happening in less than two weeks.
Carlson, has announced that he’ll join Donald Trump at a rally at Madison Square Garden this Sunday, October 27th.
“Yes, I’m with him at MSG on Sunday and in Phoenix a week from today,” Carlson told RedState.
The gregarious media personality had previously announced a hurricane relief benefit in Glendale, Arizona, on October 31st, but dropped the news of the appearance at MSG unexpectedly.
“I made the decision last night,” he said. “I’m psyched for it.”
Carlson’s quick decision to join Trump on such a big stage was perhaps sparked by an appearance Carlson did last night hosted by Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action.
If you missed it, Carlson sent the media into a frenzy when he compared Trump returning to take care of an out-of-control ruling class to “daddy” coming home.
“He’s pissed!” Carlson said to the cheering crowd. “Dad is pissed. … And when Dad gets home, you know what he says? ‘You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl, and you’re getting a vigorous spanking right now.’”
“’And no, it’s not going to hurt me more than it hurts you,’” he continued. “‘No, it’s not. I’m not going to lie. It’s going to hurt you a lot more than it hurts me.”
Here is is.

Carlson’s roaring speech even prompted CNN personality and Trump critic Brian Stelter to admit coverage to Carlson.
After Tucker Carlson likened Trump to "daddy" tonight, and said a reelected Trump would need to give the media and Democrats a "spanking," the rally crowd "went wild," @alaynatreene reports. Details of Carlson’s NYC/MSG appearance this weekend with Trump have not been released, but people should no doubt expect fireworks.
Carlson has been working diligently behind-the-scenes stumping for Trump.
Speaking on Megyn Kelly’s podcast last week, “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Carlson discussed his new documentary, “The Art of the Surge,” which chronicles the Trump campaign and features exclusive footage of the race’s most shocking moments.
Carlson’s favorite moment came during the June 27 debate between Biden and Trump that ultimately caused the Democratic Party to push Biden out of the race.
He took particular delight in the never-before-seen footage of Trump’s team reacting to Biden’s performance.
“These are people who do politics for a living, who know Biden personally, who sort of have what they think is going to happen in mind,” Carlson said.
“What actually happens is so shocking to them – it’s truly unscripted – you just can’t – they’re sitting there with jaws agape,” he said. “They can’t believe this guy is melting down the way that he is.”
Take a look:

A very interesting clip. I thought Ben Carson was going to choke on his food.
