It has been a rough week for Tucker Carlson, and he has nobody to blame but himself.
On Monday, the former Fox News host used his podcast to apologize for helping elect President Donald Trump and said he would “be tormented by it for a long time.”
“You wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him. I mean, we’re implicated in this, for sure,” Carlson said talking to his brother Buckley Carlson, a former Trump speechwriter. “It’s not enough to say, ‘Well, I changed my mind,’ or, like, ‘Oh, this is bad, I’m out.'”
“So I do think it’s like a moment to wrestle with our own consciences,” Carlson claimed. “I will be tormented by it for a long time. And I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people. It was not intentional. That’s all I’ll say.”
During the apology-fest, Buckley Carlson also attacked Trump, calling him an “out of control, megalomaniacal, destructive president.”
Buckley went on to make wild claims about Hillary Clinton and her longtime aide Huma Abedin, and said the two have a sexual relationship despite Abedin being in a relationship with Alex Soros, the son of left-wing megadonor George Soros. Tucker declined to join, saying he has a “no outing policy.”
“I’m sorry, she’s in public life. She doesn’t have a private life. It’s worthy of examination,” Buckley said on the podcast.
Buckley Carlson suggest that Hillary Clinton is a lesbian and her lover is Huma Abedin (who is married to Alex Soros on paper.)

Abedin was previously married to disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner. Her relationship with Alex Soros has been reported by multiple outlets.
The podcast came just days after separate news that Tucker’s son — also named Buckley Carlson — had quit his role as deputy press secretary for Vice President JD Vance. The younger Buckley is reportedly launching his own political consulting firm.
Tucker’s ongoing war with Trump began in earnest after the president launched military operations against Iran. He has called the war the “single biggest mistake” of Trump’s presidency and referred to Trump as a “slave” to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — a claim he repeated on the BBC before walking it back slightly.
Trump responded in kind, calling Tucker “a Low IQ person — Always easy to beat, and highly overrated!!!”
