The final week in June, 2017 — a week that will go down in infamy for CNN.
That’s what Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Wednesday night about James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas video, which critics say proves CNN’s anchors and producers are well aware their Russian- Trump collusion narrative is a total sham.
Project Veritas released part two of their “American Pravda” videos Wednesday, in which they show major CNN host Van Jones admitting, “The Russian thing is just a big nothing burger.”
While the video proof that CNN has been knowingly misleading their viewers in order to get ratings is beyond disturbing, Carlson’s greater issue was with the response from CNN to the Project Veritas videos.
CNN host Brian Stetler went on a Twitter rant, in which he said he felt he was the victim, and James O’Keefe is a the bully attacking “an entire class of American workers.”
The replies to my tweetstorm are FULL of examples of anti-journalism POV. Spreading hate about an entire class of American workers

This is where Carlson could no longer hold back.
He unleashed on Stetler and his so called “class of American workers,” instead calling them, “soft-handed Princeton grads that would be consultants at McKinsey right now if they hadn’t worked on the school paper.”
Carlson is right. Stetler is attempting to paint CNN reporters are your average blue-collar men and women just trying to do their job.
But they’re not.
“They’re the opposite of workers. They’re members of the privileged class, and their fear and outrage at the strings of populism is proof that they know they are.”
He called out their fear of accountability from the public, saying, “when the public speaks they shutter because they know exactly how much they have to lose. Viewers no longer trust these people for a very simple reason, they aren’t trustworthy, and its strange they don’t know that.
Ouch.
