Fox News’ Tucker Carlson was involved with a protest outside of the cable network headquarters.
Sort of.
When a Black Lives Matter protest broke out, agitators targeted the Fox News headquarters and a picture of Tucker Carlson was burned along with the American flag in a video that quickly circulated the internet.

The protest itself was rather lackluster.
Simply put, there couldn’t have been more than 20 people present.
Yet they caused a disturbance by shouting, burning smoke sticks, and other flammable items outside of the Fox building in Midtown Manhattan.
And among the items burned, Carlson’s picture was one of them.
You can view some of the carnage from the unrest below:

But Carlson delivered an incredibly classy response.
One that made the protest sound completely ridiculous.

According to Townhall reporter Julio Rosas, Carlson said the burning didn’t bother him one bit.
In fact, quite the opposite.
“I’m proud to be burned with the flag,” he reportedly said.
At face value, what he said may seem odd — but conservative blog Wayne Dupree writes “Tucker knows, just like the rest of us, that the flag stands for freedom, prosperity, and hope, so yes, in an odd and twisted way, it’s an honor to be burned alongside old glory.”
As for the so-called protest, many on social media were left utterly confused.

Another woman called the display “sickening.”
And some others flat out agreed with Carlson’s response:
“It would be an honor to be hated by these people as much as they hate america.”
