Tucker Carlson “agreed to part ways” from Fox News on Monday, and he’s largely remained mum on the subject.
But on Tuesday, Carlson gave his first interview after leaving Fox… and he gave some hints about his future.

“Retirement is going great so far,” Carlson told DailyMail.com Tuesday from his home on Florida’s Gulf Coast. “I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years.”
The Fox News vet began hosting Tucker Carlson Tonight in 2016.
Asked about his plans for the future, Carlson joked, “Appetizers plus entree.”
Behind the scenese, the Daily Mail reported a Tuesday-night meeting between Carlson and executive producer Justin Wells, another target of Fox News Channel’s recent firings. Daily Mail is owned by Rupert Murdoch, and so is Fox News.
Plus, Carlson has partnered with Hollywood lawyer Bryan Freedman to negotiate his severance package, sources told Daily Mail.
That means Carlson looks unlikely to make any significant announcements during the ongoing negotiations, despite already receiving verbal offerings from The Daily Wire and Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV.
“These are private discussions,” Susan Andrews Carlson, the cable host’s wife, told the Daily Mail, denying any plans for a tell-all interview. “It’s nothing like that.”
In any case, the Carlson family seems to be enjoying semi-retirement, despite the liberal gloating about his ouster from Fox News.

The U.K.-based tabloid reported —
Carlson looked unfazed by their glee as he left his secluded Gulf Coast home and headed out for date night, smiling broadly, and dressed in a smart, blue button-down shirt and khaki pants.
Sat beside him on the golf cart was Susan Andrews Carlson, 53, his college sweetheart and wife of 32 years.
Take a look —
Tucker Carlson seems absolutely devastated by his departure from Fox.
Here is what the Daily Mail had to say about their encounter with him:
“Tucker looks like a man without a care in the world as he scoots off to dinner with his wife.”
