Conservative news star Tucker Carlson slammed former President Donald Trump and said he should not be elected president on Thursday.
Carlson was discussing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s latest health meltdown in an interview Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy on his “Tucker on X” show.

Portnoy said McConnell, 81, was too old to be in office — and said both Trump, 77, and President Joe Biden, 80, were also too elderly to effectively lead.
“To be honest, I think both Trump and Biden are too old. I don’t think you should be able to be that old and be president,” Portnoy said.
Despite Trump holding a commanding lead in the 2024 Republican primary, Carlson enthusiastically agreed that Trump should not be in office.
“I agree 100%!” Carlson exclaimed while nodding along.
“How are these people running our country?” Portnoy asked.
“There are no companies in the world where I would buy stock where you’re having the CEO seemingly at that advanced age. It’s just only in politics,” he said. “It’s crazy.”

The two also chided Trump for not being involved in the Republican presidential primary.
