President Donald Trump tweeted Sunday morning criticizing the mainstream media for relying on the same, failing polls they did during the presidential election.
The Washington Post and ABC clearly learned nothing about polling during the election, in which they were certain failed nominee Hillary Clinton would win by a landslide.

They are now using these same polling systems to slam President Donald Trump, claiming he has the lowest six month approval rating in comparison to other presidents of the last 70 years.
The poll, released Sunday morning, shows Trump has a 36% approval rating with the American public. They blamed the Russian collusion theory and establishment Republicans’ failure to repeal and replace Obamacare for these low numbers.

Trump tweeted in response:
The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though almost 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!

This is the same system, that on the eve of election night, reported Clinton had a four point lead over Trump – 47 to 43 percent, just hours before she lost.
And while the mainstream media continues to cite these polls that have proven failing track records, they’re ignoring one that has a history of accuracy.

Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking poll reported Trump’s approval a whopping 7 points higher than ABC/WaPo poll Monday, with a 43% approval rating.
But regardless, other liberal media were quick to jump on the fake news bandwagon.

And Trump-supporting Twitter users jumped on their inaccuracy, with some arguing that they are intentionally surveying more democrats than Republicans to skew the numbers!
Libs and their fake polls. All they have are made up numbers. Rasmussen has Trump at 50 (and they are still Dems +3 sampling)! #morningjoe pic.twitter.com/09gWwDLd1z

Using same fake polls that said Hillary would be our POTUS. ????????????
Hillary still isn't the president of anything ????????????#Trump2020

It’s clear these polls are not to be trusted, but liberals will continue to yell them from the rooftops because it fits their anti-Trump narrative.

Trump himself summed up the problem with the mainstream media perfectly in a single tweet:
With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!
