President Donald Trump unloaded on former CIA director John Brennan on Monday, quoting former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino who appeared on “Fox & Friends” hours before the agency’s new director was sworn in.
Brennan has spent several weeks insulting the president on social media, even calling his demand for a Department of Justice investigation over the FBI a “disastrous path.”
Firing back at Brennan’s attacks, Trump concluded that Brennan is “largely responsible for the destruction of America’s faith in the Intelligence Community.”
Just two hours before he was set to arrive at the installation of the new CIA director, Trump fired off three lengthy quotes criticizing Brennan’s role in destroying America’s faith in the intelligence community.
“John Brennan is panicking. He has disgraced himself, he has disgraced the Country, he has disgraced the entire Intelligence Community. He is the one man who is largely responsible for the destruction of American’s faith in the Intelligence Community and in some people at the….

Brennan who served as CIA Director during former President Barack Obama’s second term, avoided the spotlight during his time with the agency. But since leaving, he has made it public that he is no fan of the president.
Brennan once wrote on Twitter that Trump “continues to demonstrate daily that he is a deeply flawed person.”
As Brennan continues to attack Trump, Bongino suggests that Brennan is in panic mode about his reputation and about “felonious criminal leaks.”
